Health Journalism
Without the Agenda

The Metabolic Health Edit exists because we believe patients deserve better information. The GLP-1 medication space is flooded with breathless marketing, fear-mongering headlines, and social media misinformation. We aim to cut through all of it.

What We Do

We publish evidence-based reporting on GLP-1 medications, metabolic health, and the telehealth platforms that prescribe these treatments. Our work includes:

  • Educational guides that explain the science in plain language
  • Provider reviews based on firsthand evaluation, not press releases
  • Drug comparisons grounded in clinical trial data and real-world evidence
  • Industry analysis covering pipeline drugs, insurance trends, and regulatory developments

Our Editorial Standards

Every article we publish is:

  • Sourced from peer-reviewed research — we cite clinical trials, not press releases
  • Reviewed for accuracy — our content undergoes editorial review before publication
  • Updated regularly — the GLP-1 landscape evolves rapidly; our content reflects current evidence
  • Transparent about limitations — when the evidence is uncertain, we say so

How We Make Money

Transparency about our business model is non-negotiable. The Metabolic Health Edit earns revenue through:

  • Affiliate partnerships: Some links to telehealth providers earn us a referral commission. This never influences our ratings or recommendations.
  • Advertising: We may display relevant advertisements. Advertisers have no editorial input.

We do not accept payment for positive reviews. We do not allow providers to preview or edit our evaluations of their services. Our editorial and business operations are separated.

If a provider offers a great service, we'll say so. If they don't, we'll say that too. Our credibility depends on it.

A Note on Medical Advice

We are health journalists, not physicians. Our content is designed to inform and educate — it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or treatment plan.
